Come Grow With Us: Chef Showdown Fundraiser for Liberty’s Kitchen!

Get ready for a night of food, drinks, music, culinary talent and incredible auction items, all in the name of a great cause! Liberty’s Kitchen is throwing their 5th annual Come Grow With Us fundraising event to provide vulnerable young people in our community with employability and life skills training and freshly prepared, nutritious meals.

Tickets can be purchased on Liberty’s Kitchen’s website. Individual tickets start at $100, and additional sponsorship packages are available.




This year, some of the top chefs in New Orleans will compete for your favorite dishes in multiple categories.

Participating 2015 chefs include talent from Bayona, GW Fins, Bittersweet Confections, Emeril Lagasse’s NOLA, Cane & Table, Carmo, The Company Burger, Mopho, Peche, Coquette, Purloo, Roux Bistro, Sheraton, Doris Metropolitan, Milkfish, Sucré, The Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine, Willa Jean, and of course, Liberty’s Kitchen!



Auction Items

The live auction items this year are spectacular and include a tie-in with Atelier Ace, the creative agency behind the forthcoming Ace Hotel New Orleans. Their first South American outpost, American Trade Hotel, located in Casco Viejo in Panama City, Panama, is offering a four night stay during the Panama Jazz Festival in January 2016. The prize will also include a VIP festival press pass, two tickets to the Danilo Perez Jazz Club, AND two round trip flights between New Orleans and Panama on Copa Airlines!

Other auction items include a traveling dinner party at Emeril Lagasse’s restaurants, a luxury getaway on Sea Island, a Theo’s pizza truck party, dinner by Leon Galatoire, and more.



Music and Entertainment

Music for the event will be provided by local favorites Mia Borders, Luke Winslow King, and Pat Casey. You’ll also get to enjoy an ice sculpture courtesy of Juliette and John Albrecht.
